    Sikaflex 219LM formulation allows greater movement (plus or minus 50%) of joint width. It is generally used in new construction when shrinkage (loss of moisture) of logs or settling caused by the weight of the structure creates dynamic movement.

    Tack free time is 6 to 8 hours at 70º & 50% RH, 3 hours to the touch, 7 to 10 days final cure. Elongation is 700% at break. Application temperature range is 20º F to I OOº F. It can be painted over with water, oil or rubber based paints. It can be used to seal either interior or exterior openings in log homes. It is designed for joints with a maximum size of ½” deep by 1’wide when movement does not exceed plus or minus 25% of the total width of joint (class A sealant). It meets Federal Spec. TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A and is approved by USDA, FDA and NSF.
